National Hugging Day

It is National Hugging Day,
The day we show we care.
Wrap our arms around each other,
Lean in and share

The things we feel inside,
Love we sometimes hide.
It's National Hugging Day,
So we take the time.

We pause along the street,
Look into the eyes,
Consider emotions and
Ask the questions why
We feel the way we do.

Reach out, let hearts touch,
Share ourselves on this day,
An example that means so much.
